How many times during your day, as you partner with the many people in your business ventures, do you recommend a resource or a tool or a product that has benefitted you?

If you’re like me, it may be quite a few times.

Many (maybe most) resources and marketing tools on the internet today offer an affiliate program – which means that they will pay you a commission when you recommend their products and services to others who purchase them.  Often the commissions are from 30% to 60% or more of the purchase price.

Most often there is no cost to become an affiliate for a program, and many times you don’t even have to purchase the product yourself.  However, what I am recommending here is that you share programs you DO use so that you can offer a personal recommendation.

There is also no effort on your part with regard to the fulfillment of the delivery of the product.  The company offering the affiliate program for the product you are recommending takes care of everything.  All you do is recommend the product or service and give your acquaintance a website address, which includes your affiliate ID.

Since Affiliate Marketing is one of my substantial income streams, I purchase a domain for each program I represent and I use the domain name when I recommend the product or service.

For example, my foundation for learning about affiliate marketing is a handbook by Rosalind Gardner, who earned over $400,000 her first year in affiliate marketing.  I felt she would be a great teacher and she has been for me. 

Of course, Rosalind was doing affiliate marketing full time, and that is not what we are talking about in this article. We are talking about offering resources and earning commissions in your daily routine, with little additional effort on your part.

For example, I became an affiliate for Rosalind’s affiliate marketing handbook.  I purchased a domain name and it is redirected to the affiliate link provided by Rosalind.

Over the years, as I have found resources and programs to expand my own personal spiritual growth or business tools to promote my business, I have gathered them together in one location on my personal website and blogs.

I recommend a personal website or blog where visitors can get to know YOU and then they will naturally be attracted to what you have to offer.  If you don’t have a personal website, you may also be effective with email or posting messages on networks and forums at various online communities and social networks – in a conversational way of course.

There are endless possibilities for creating passive income with Affiliate Marketing!
